How is it...
...that two $35 concert tickets end up costing 93 bucks and change by the end of the transaction??
I. Hate. Ticketmaster.
And all other ticket sellers that charge exorbitant service charges and "convenience fees."

One of the main reasons I don't go to concerts... But I'd probably go with you.... and to a concert too... (wink)
Ya no shit. Two $90 Police tickets cost me WELL over $200
It's the law of supply and demand.
They have the SUPPLY of tickets...
So they can DEMAND whaterver the hell they want for them.
yeharr
savage, i wish i could quit the concerts.
and i'll be sure to take you to one.. if you ever get your ass to my fine city.
jon, isn't that ridiculous?? i wouldn't mind so much if the artist were getting all that money, but they're not.
pirate, you're so right. and ticketmaster practically has a monopoly, so we're screwed.
Who are you going to see?
that's why you just crash the show with yer press credentials ... heh
No quitting the concerts! At all! What did you buy?
-N
That's why I'll be waiting in line in front of a bar at noon on Monday to see if I can buy a "day of show" ticket. When I tried to buy them online from Ticketmaster, the cheapest shipping option was $15!!! Uh, hell no.
sassy, i'm seeing joss stone. love her!
dzer, that doesn't really work around these parts...dang it...
nat, i'll never quit the concerts! i heard someone recently say something about how 40 was too old for a concert she wanted to go to... and i say, to hell with that!
kitty, that's a really smart way to go. the only way to get around all those ridiculous charges is to buy in person. good luck...!
ooh terry has a man flirtin with YOU!
yeah, its ridiculous how much concert tickets cost.
I remember the days...no i dont! hahahahaa aaaaagh i am making no sense. I HATE FUCKING MATH HOMEWORK.
laura, you're funny.
the thing is... i DO remember the days of the 8 dollar concert ticket! but i was too young to drive, and it was suuuuch a pain to try to arrange transportation...
"my mom will drive if your mom will pick up..."
the cry of the suburban teen.
Hi T,
Hey, if you want to go hike in parts of the Wilderness system in California, you have to go to Ticketron!
NO shit!
XO
Chuck
Fucking surcharges will be the death of me. I love the copious surcharges and bogus taxes thrown in on my cell bill.
BTW, in honor of you, I've taught Buddha how to say "dork."
I showed him your profile pic and said, "Terry. Say 'Terry.'" He repeated your name. Then I said, "Dork. Can you say that?"
He clearly said, "DORK!"
The next 10 minutes were spent with him walking around the house saying, "Mommy dork. Daddy dork."
chuck, that's ABSURD!!
buddhagirl... i'm so honored he said my name! and that you taught him how to say dork!! omigod. that's too much.
